Not wanting to go on with negative posts but the difference between 20:20 cricket and proper cricket sorry championship cricket is massive in the four day game there is a slip cordon to pouch the catch's that would normally fly to the boundary in 20:20 cricket. But on a positive note at least we have done very well in one day cricket, my favourite competition is the county championship but let's not forget the success of the season up to now. Confidence and morale are massive and as fan's we have to keep the faith and keep the critiscm constuctive. The idiot who shouted to Gilo 'when are you going to resign' should have the balls to approach Ashley and give his opinions face to face. I do feel genuine sadness for Westy and feel the captaincy is not helping him but he is not at fault for the teams position in the league. How many players have we been linked with in the last few years to many to mention why don't they come, I don't know the actual reasons but is it down to not spending the cash that is needed to bring in the quality that is needed at this level. Not mentioning any players but how many signings in the last few years have really got you excited when the news broke. C'mon you Bears lets be grizzly not Care Bears!!!!

In truth things havent been great for a few seasons (dull or defeat - desperate bowling at times or lemming like moments) - so a bit of one day sucess would be great. Otherwise I will find it difficult to see the difference between now and the GB era. Fingers crossed for monday...., its a big evening for the club in more ways than one.
